Our Musical Director

Rónan Busfield

Rónan was born in Basingstoke in 1984, and grew up in the Shinfield area of Reading.  His musical career started on the violin and oboe, and it was not until the age of 16 that he started singing.  Since then, Rónan has performed for the National Youth Choir, Rodolfus Choir, Tenebrae Choir and National Youth Music Theatre.  From 2002-2005 he was a Choral Scholar at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he also conducted the College's Choral Society, the Magdalen Singers.  He is now a Lay Clerk at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, performing for daily services and state occasions - most recently for the Queen's 80th Birthday and the Annual Garter Day celebrations. Rónan joined Twyford Singers in September 2007.
